关于地图
Yirga Ch’efē Map Poster & Print
Yirga Ch’efē lies in the Gedeo area of southern Ethiopia, on high ground east of the Rift Valley lakes. The terrain is hilly and well watered, and on a map, the town appears as a compact cluster along the main road running north to south through the region. Smaller streets branch off onto the neighbouring slopes.
Around the town, the landscape is covered with smallholdings where coffee grows under the shade of taller trees, often alongside enset, the false banana plant grown throughout the region. Seen from above, that gives the area a dense, soft texture instead of open fields. A Yirga Ch’efē map poster sets the town's modest street pattern against this green, rolling backdrop.
The name is known to coffee drinkers around the world. Yirgacheffe coffee, washed and known for its floral, citrus-like character, is one of the best-known origins in speciality coffee. For a small highland town, it is unusual to have such international recognition, and that makes its map meaningful well beyond Ethiopia.

Ridge and slope
The town follows high ground among hills and valleys. Streets curve with the terrain and give the composition a gentle movement.
Coffee country
Shaded smallholdings surround the town. They leave a soft, open area around the built streets instead of hard field boundaries.

为什么选Yirga Ch’efē
一张有意义的地图
For coffee roasters, baristas and anyone who loves a good cup, Yirga Ch’efē is more than a name on a bag. It also means home to Ethiopians from Gedeo. This map puts that origin on the wall of a café, kitchen or office.
Add a title, a subtitle and the coordinates line, perhaps with a farm or cooperative name. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand gives a warm, earthy tone.
