Yondó Map Poster & Print
Yondó sits on the western bank of the Magdalena River in the Magdalena Medio region of Antioquia. From above, the town is a small cluster of streets pressed against the riverbank. Around it, the land breaks into channels, marsh and shallow lagoons, and the map shows it clearly as a place shaped by water.
Directly across the river is Barrancabermeja, the oil refining city of Santander, and the two are closely tied. Yondó's own territory includes the Casabe oil field, one of the older fields in the valley. Fishing in the ciénagas and work in the oil industry have long been central to local life.
A Yondó map poster shows the broad Magdalena as the main shape. The small town grid clings to one bank, and wetland outlines scatter across the rest of the frame. The composition is open and liquid rather than dense, which gives it an unusual, calm character on a wall.
