Main road spine
A few principal roads pass through the town, and most buildings line up along them. This gives the map its central structure.

关于地图
Zagné Map Poster & Print
Zagné is a town in the far west of Ivory Coast, in the green and rainy country near the Liberian border. From above the town is modest in size, a cluster of streets and compounds around a few main roads, surrounded by plantations, forest remnants and tracks leading to outlying villages.
Maps of places like this show how people settle in a forested region. Buildings follow the roads closely, footpaths branch between fields, and the edge of the town fades gradually into farmland instead of stopping at a clear boundary. In black and white this makes a gentle, organic composition with few straight lines.
A Zagné map poster is not about famous landmarks. It is about a specific place in western Ivory Coast that belongs to the people who come from it. It shows the roads they walk, the centre they return to, and the countryside around it.

Soft town edges
The built-up area gradually thins into fields and tracks instead of ending at a hard border, which makes for a natural, organic shape.
Rural track network
Narrow paths and minor roads spread outward to farms and villages, filling the outer frame with fine, branching lines.
