Kaarta
Gālīkesh lies in the east of Golestan province in northern Iran, where the lowland plain gives way to the wooded foothills of the eastern Alborz. The town is shaped by that transition. On a map, farmland and straight roads cover the flatter ground, while the lines become more irregular where the terrain rises and valleys lead up into the forest.
The main regional road toward Mashhad passes close by and continues east through Golestan National Park, the oldest national park in Iran. The park is known for its forests and wildlife, and its dense, largely roadless expanse appears on the map as broad open space beyond the town. It contrasts with the cultivated land to the west.
The forested slopes belong to the Hyrcanian forests along the Caspian side of the Alborz, which UNESCO lists as a World Heritage Site. A Gālīkesh map poster captures the edge between the farmed plain and those ancient woods, with a small town sitting where the two meet.

The road east leads into Golestan National Park, whose protected forest leaves a wide, quiet space on the map beyond the town.
Dense, ancient broadleaf forest covers the Alborz slopes nearby. It frames the settlement with a dark, continuous mass in the Noir style.

For people from Golestan, this map captures a familiar edge between field and forest. For travellers who have crossed the national park on the way to Mashhad, it is a reminder of a landscape that changes character within a few kilometres.
Title the poster with a name or date, adjust the subtitle and coordinates, and choose a style. Paper and Sand suit the farmland, and Noir deepens the forest. You get a free watermarked preview first, and the $9 HD files have no watermark.
