Kaarta
Isfara lies in the south of the Fergana Valley in Tajikistan's Sughd region, where the valley floor meets the foothills of the mountains to the south. The Isfara River flows out of those mountains and through the city, and from above it forms the main line around which streets, fields and irrigation channels are arranged.
The area is known for its orchards, particularly apricots, and much of the land around the city is given over to fruit gardens. Isfara also sits close to one of the most complex borders in Central Asia, where Tajik, Kyrgyz and Uzbek territories interlock, including the Tajik exclave of Vorukh inside Kyrgyzstan to the south.
An Isfara map poster shows a city tied closely to its river and gardens. The urban streets gather near the centre, orchards and channels spread outward in a fine, regular pattern, and the foothills rise at the edge. It is a quiet, detailed composition that reflects the agricultural character of this corner of the Fergana Valley.
The river runs from the southern mountains through the city, forming the central axis of the map and feeding the channels that irrigate the surrounding orchards.
Around the city, fruit gardens and irrigated plots create a fine, repeated texture of small parcels and lanes, a pattern typical of the valley's farming land.
To the south, the land rises toward the mountains, and the street network thins into scattered roads, giving the map a clear boundary between valley and highland.

Macah Isfara
People from Isfara often carry strong memories of its orchards and river, especially those who have moved to Dushanbe, Russia or further afield for work. A map of the city is a simple way to keep that landscape present at home.
Add a title in Latin, Cyrillic or Tajik script, a subtitle and the coordinates line, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand suits the warm, dry colours of the valley in summer.
