Khada is a town in Kushinagar district in eastern Uttar Pradesh, near the border with Bihar and not far from Nepal. On a map it forms a compact cluster of streets along the main roads, surrounded by a very flat, fertile plain shaped over time by the Gandak river and its shifting channels.
