Mkhuhlu is a settlement in the Bushbuckridge area of Mpumalanga, in South Africa’s Lowveld. From above it looks less like a compact town and more like a broad field of streets and plots, spreading across gently rolling land rather than gathering around a single centre.
The Sabie River runs nearby, its winding course forming one of the few strong curves on an otherwise open map. The western boundary of Kruger National Park lies not far to the east. A Mkhuhlu map poster shows the contrast between dense residential blocks and the wide, empty bush beyond them.
