Quezon lies in the province of Bukidnon, on the high interior plateau of northern Mindanao. It is a large, mainly rural municipality. From above, the town centre is a modest cluster of streets, while most of the map is taken up by farmland, river valleys and scattered barangays linked by long roads.
Agriculture shapes the landscape. Sugarcane and other crops cover wide areas, and the fields form large irregular patches that follow the rolling ground. Rivers cut through the plateau in deep, winding valleys, and forested ridges rise toward the edges of the municipality, as they do across much of Bukidnon.
