Thubelihle is a township in Mpumalanga, on the high, open plateau of the South African Highveld. On a map it appears as a tightly planned residential area, with blocks of similar size arranged along straight and gently curving streets, and a small number of main roads connecting it to the wider region.
The surrounding landscape is broad and largely flat, and the drawing shows how the township sits within it: a clear built-up shape with defined edges, then open land, farm roads and the long lines of regional routes. This part of Mpumalanga is closely tied to coal mining and power generation, and larger industrial sites form part of the wider picture.
