Ucuma is a town in Huambo province, on the high central plateau of Angola, an area of rolling upland well over a thousand metres above sea level. The town's streets gather in a compact core, and on a map they give way quickly to farmland, tracks and small settlements scattered across the gently undulating landscape of the planalto.
