Ijok Map Poster & Print
Ijok lies in the Kuala Selangor district, in the low coastal plain of Selangor west of the Klang Valley. It is not a single compact town but a spread of villages, housing estates and farmland, and the map reflects that. Instead of a dense centre, you see clusters of streets linked by long, straight roads across level ground.
Much of the land around Ijok has been worked as agricultural estates, especially oil palm, and the rectangular divisions of fields and drainage channels give the map an orderly, almost ruled look. Newer residential developments appear as tight pockets of curving cul-de-sacs, very different from the open grid of the plantation tracks around them.
An Ijok map poster suits anyone who knows the place through its roads and kampung rather than through landmarks. In black and white, the contrast between planned estates and rural lanes becomes a quiet graphic pattern, a record of a district shaped by farming and gradually drawn into the growth of greater Kuala Lumpur.

Residential pockets
Housing developments show up as compact clusters of looping streets, set like islands within the agricultural landscape.
Drainage lines
Channels and small waterways run across the lowland, adding thin lines that follow the level terrain of the coastal plain.
