Tanjong Malim Map Poster & Print
Tanjong Malim sits at the southern tip of Perak, where the Bernam River forms the boundary with Selangor. The town lies between hills rising to the east and flatter land to the west, and both the railway line and the old trunk road pass through it, giving the map two strong north–south lines alongside the curves of the river.
The town is best known as home to Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, which grew out of the Sultan Idris Training College founded in 1922 and long regarded as a cradle of Malay teachers and writers. Nearby, Proton City was developed around an automobile plant, adding a planned district of wide roads to the older town.
A Tanjong Malim map poster combines these layers: the compact old commercial streets near the railway, the campus with its looser arrangement of buildings, the river marking the state line and the newer planned roads beyond. In black and white, the differences in street pattern are easy to follow, and the river gives the composition a natural edge.

Campus grounds
The university's campuses introduce broader spaces, curving access roads and clusters of buildings, a different rhythm from the close-set streets of the old town.
Railway town grid
The older commercial centre lies close to the railway line, its short parallel streets reflecting a town that grew up around trade and the station.
