Bietigheim-Bissingen Map Poster & Print
Bietigheim-Bissingen lies north of Stuttgart in Baden-Württemberg, where the Metter flows into the Enz. The city was formed in 1975 by joining the two neighbouring towns of Bietigheim and Bissingen. On a map, both older centres are still visible, linked by newer districts and separated in places by the curving, deep-set valley of the Enz.
Bietigheim's old town keeps its compact medieval street pattern and half-timbered houses. The most recognisable feature, though, is the Enz Viaduct, a long stone railway bridge with a row of arches built in the 1850s. It still carries trains across the valley and remains a symbol of the city.
A Bietigheim-Bissingen map poster shows the river valley winding through the city, the old town gathered close to it and the long straight line of the viaduct crossing overhead. Together they make a balanced and detailed composition that works well in the pared-down monochrome style.

Enz and Metter
The Metter joins the Enz here, and the winding river valley runs through the city, separating and connecting its different districts.
Two historic centres
The old cores of Bietigheim and Bissingen remain distinct on the map, a trace of the separate towns that merged in 1975.
