Loha is a town in the Nanded district of Maharashtra, in the Marathwada region of the Deccan plateau. Its map shows a dense, irregular core of lanes and small blocks, with a few principal roads leading out toward Nanded and neighbouring towns. Around it the land is broad and open, divided into farm plots and crossed by seasonal streams.
The countryside here is largely agricultural, and the town serves the surrounding villages as a place for trade, schooling and administration.
