Taj Mahal gardens
The garden and mausoleum form a crisp, symmetrical rectangle on the riverbank, one of the few places where the map shows a perfectly geometric plan inside an otherwise organic city.

Mapa
Agra Map Poster & Print
Agra is shaped by the Yamuna, which enters from the north and swings in a wide curve along the city's eastern side. Almost everything of historical weight lines this riverbank. On a map the water appears as a broad, slightly meandering band, with the dense old city pressed against its western bank and quieter, greener land spreading out on the opposite shore.
Downstream, where the river turns, the Taj Mahal stands inside its walled garden, a symmetrical rectangle that stands out clearly from the irregular streets around it. Built by Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for Mumtaz Mahal, it is laid out on a strict axis toward the water. Directly across the river lies Mehtab Bagh, a garden aligned with the same axis.
Upriver sits Agra Fort, its red sandstone walls tracing a large crescent beside the Yamuna. Between the two, the old city is a tight weave of lanes and bazaars, while the cantonment to the south is laid out with wider roads and open ground. An Agra map poster brings these layers together, from Mughal geometry to the everyday grain of a large Indian city.

Agra Fort
A walled enclosure shaped roughly like a crescent along the Yamuna, about two and a half kilometres upstream of the Taj, its outline instantly recognisable in black and white.
Yamuna bend
The river curves around the eastern edge of the city, with Mehtab Bagh on the far bank aligned with the Taj, giving the poster a strong sweeping line.

Zašto Agra
Mapa koja nešto znači
Many people hang an Agra map after a first visit to the Taj Mahal, a honeymoon, or because of a family connection to Uttar Pradesh. The river bend and the two Mughal landmarks give the print a clear story that reads well from across a room.
The title and subtitle are yours to change, so a date or a short dedication fits easily, and the coordinates line can point to the exact spot. Pick Classic black & white for contrast, Sand for a warmer tone, or any of the other three styles.
