Mapa
Allschwil Map Poster & Print
Allschwil lies in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, directly west of Basel, with the French border running along one side. From above, its built-up area joins seamlessly with the city, while to the south and west it borders forest and farmland, giving the map a clear, irregular edge.
The historic village centre is known for its half-timbered houses in the Sundgau style, rare in this part of Switzerland, and the old core keeps a distinctly rural layout. In recent years, the Bachgraben area has developed as a hub for life sciences and other businesses, adding larger blocks to the town's pattern.
An Allschwil map poster shows these layers clearly: the winding streets of the old village, the more regular residential areas, the new commercial district, and the forest and fields at the edges. With Basel to the east and France to the west, the composition captures a town shaped by its position between city, countryside and border.

Allschwiler Wald
Forest borders the town to the south, where streets stop and woodland begins, giving the poster a strong natural edge.
Border with France
The national border runs along the western side, and the map shows how the town's streets end or connect across this line.
