Mapa
Araure Map Poster & Print
Araure sits on the western edge of the llanos in Portuguesa state, at the point where the plains begin to lift toward the Andean foothills. It has grown into one continuous urban area with its neighbour Acarigua. On the map the two share a boundary of streets, separated mainly by the course of a river and by the way each grid is oriented.
The surrounding country is some of Venezuela's most productive farmland, known for rice, maize and other grains. That agricultural role explains the wide roads, storage yards and industrial plots at the edge of town. Beyond them the map turns into a pattern of large rectangular fields that runs out to the horizon.
An Araure map poster frames this relationship between the town, its twin and the open plain. The older centre is tighter and more regular, with newer districts spreading outward along the highways. Lighter lines show the farmland in all directions. It is a practical, grounded landscape, and its geometry comes across well in simple black and white.

Grid of the plains
The town's streets follow a steady colonial-style grid. It suits the flat llanos terrain and gives the poster a clear, balanced structure.
Field patterns
Around the edges, large cultivated fields and farm roads form broad rectangles. They are a reminder that this is one of the country's key agricultural areas.

Zašto Araure
Mapa koja nešto znači
For people from Portuguesa, Araure is a working, everyday place, and a map of it feels honest rather than decorative. The meeting of two grids and the open plains around them make a composition that is more interesting than you might expect.
The title and subtitle can say anything you like, and the coordinates line can mark a street or a family home. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
