Planned street pattern
Long, straight roads divide the district into regular blocks of housing. They continue the planned layout that has shaped Port Said since the canal was built.

Az-Zuhūr Map Poster & Print
Az-Zuhūr is one of the districts of Port Said, the city at the Mediterranean entrance to the Suez Canal. It lies on the western side of the urban area, toward the wide, shallow waters of Lake Manzala, and is made up mostly of housing blocks, schools and local markets. From above, it reads as a dense but orderly residential quarter rather than a historic centre.
Port Said was founded in 1859 as the canal was being built, so even its oldest quarters follow planned streets. Newer districts such as Az-Zuhūr continue that approach, with long straight roads and repeated apartment blocks. The land is almost entirely flat and hemmed in by sea, canal and lake, which gives maps of the city a strong, clean geometry.
Framing the district on its own brings out the rhythm of its streets, while a slightly wider view takes in the lake shore and the edges of neighbouring districts. An Az-Zuhūr map poster suits a place most visitors never see but that thousands of families simply call home. It is drawn with the same care as any famous city.

Flat, open ground
The land has almost no relief, so the map is pure line and block. The geometry of the streets carries the whole composition.
Toward Lake Manzala
On the western side, the built-up area gives way toward the broad, shallow lake. In a wider framing, its open water adds a calm expanse at the edge of the poster.
