Mapa
Bartlett Map Poster & Print
From above, Bartlett is a pattern of curving streets and cul-de-sacs set between a handful of long arterial roads. There is no dense old grid at the centre; the town grew mostly as a suburb, and its map reflects that. Parks, school grounds and patches of woodland appear throughout, and small creeks leave thin green lines through the neighbourhoods.
Bartlett is a city in Shelby County, Tennessee, on the northeastern edge of the Memphis area. It began as a small railroad community and grew rapidly in the late twentieth century as Memphis expanded. Today it is one of the larger suburbs in the region, largely residential, with parks and schools spread across the city.
A Bartlett map poster turns suburban streets into a surprisingly rich design. The loops and crescents of each subdivision give the print texture, while the main roads provide structure. It is the kind of map people recognise instantly, down to the curve of their own street.

Subdivision curves
Between the main roads, residential streets bend into loops, crescents and cul-de-sacs. At poster scale these become fine, repeating patterns.
Creeks and green space
Small creeks and parks cut through the neighbourhoods, leaving open spaces in the street pattern. They give the map room to breathe.
