The Loire runs along the northern edge of the commune. Its channels and low islands form a broad, layered band of water that frames the top of the map.

Mapa
Bouguenais Map Poster & Print
Bouguenais lies just southwest of Nantes, on the left bank of the Loire where the river begins to widen toward its estuary. On the map, the north edge of the commune is shaped by the river. Channels, islands and marshy banks run along it, and the town's streets spread back from the water onto higher ground.
The largest single shape in the commune is Nantes Atlantique Airport. Its long straight runway cuts through a landscape otherwise made of hedged fields and curving residential streets. The commune also has a major aircraft-manufacturing site. Industry, aviation and river frontage together give Bouguenais a more varied outline than most suburbs of its size.
A Bouguenais map poster sets these pieces side by side. The dark curve of the Loire runs along the top, the runway stands out as one hard line, and the village centres appear as small clusters of streets. In monochrome, the different parts of the commune read clearly, and the river holds the composition together.

Airport runway
Nantes Atlantique Airport sits inside the commune. Its runway is the longest straight line on the poster and cuts cleanly through the softer pattern of fields and streets.
Village clusters
Bouguenais is made of several built-up areas separated by green land. On the map they appear as distinct pockets of streets rather than one continuous town.

Zašto Bouguenais
Mapa koja nešto znači
For people who live in Bouguenais, the map shows the place they come home to. Others may know it mainly from the airport or the aircraft works. The Loire makes the composition strong enough for a large wall, and the pattern of streets rewards a closer look.
You can personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a street name or the year you moved in, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the commune's aviation connection well.
