Mapa
Branford Map Poster & Print
Branford sits on the Connecticut shoreline just east of New Haven, where Long Island Sound meets a coast of coves, tidal creeks and granite points. From above, the town is shaped as much by water as by roads. The Branford River winds inland through salt marsh, and neighbourhoods such as Short Beach, Indian Neck and Stony Creek cluster along the jagged coastline.
Off Stony Creek lie the Thimble Islands, a group of small rocky islands, many with a single house, that appear on the map as a scatter of dots in the Sound. Granite from the Stony Creek quarries was used in well-known structures, including the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty. Inland, the historic town green anchors the centre.
A Branford map poster makes a striking composition because of that intricate coastline: fingers of land, winding creeks and islands against the open water. It suits people who have spent summers on the shore, families who have lived here for generations and anyone who feels at home near the Sound. Inland, the town green and quieter residential streets balance the complexity of the shore.

Branford River
The river threads inland through tidal marsh. Its curves and side channels form a soft, organic shape between the town centre and the shore.
Shoreline points
Rocky headlands and coves give the coast a jagged edge, with small beach neighbourhoods tucked into each inlet along the waterfront.

Zašto Branford
Mapa koja nešto znači
People remember Branford by its water: a boat ride among the islands, a house near the marsh, a summer at Short Beach. A map of the town keeps that shoreline in view long after the season ends.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps naming a cottage or marking a wedding date, and choose from five styles. Blueprint and Noir suit the strong coastline especially well. HD files cost $9, and printed posters come on matte paper.
