Valley edge
The town sits where the level valley floor starts to rise into the foothills, so the street pattern loosens and thins towards the higher ground.

Mapa
Chust Map Poster
Chust lies on the northern edge of the Fergana Valley in Namangan Region, where the flat, irrigated valley floor meets rising foothills. From above, the town's streets spread across the gently sloping ground. Main roads run towards the regional centre and the neighbouring districts. Irrigation channels and tree-lined lanes cut through gardens and orchards, so the green spaces and the built-up areas are closely interwoven.
The town is known across Uzbekistan for its craftsmen, especially for the Chust knife, a traditional blade still made by hand, and for embroidered skullcaps. Archaeologists also gave the town's name to the Chust culture, a Bronze Age farming culture of the Fergana Valley first identified at sites near here.
A Chust map poster captures a Central Asian town shaped by water and farming. The regular pattern of streets and plots, the lines of irrigation canals and the rising ground towards the mountains make a quiet, textured print. It is a meaningful image of a place whose crafts have travelled much further than its size would suggest.

Irrigation lines
Canals and ditches run between fields and gardens, forming long thin lines through the landscape that shaped where the town could grow.
Garden plots
Residential streets are lined with walled plots and orchards, so from above the town looks like a mix of houses and greenery rather than solid blocks.

Zašto Chust
Mapa koja nešto znači
For people from Chust, or anyone who owns one of its famous knives, the map is a way to keep the town close. It links a craft tradition to the specific streets and fields it came from, which gives the print more meaning than a generic landscape.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be personalised, for example with a family name or a year. Sand and Paper suit the valley's warm tones, while Classic black & white, Noir and Blueprint give a more graphic finish.
