Danville Map Poster & Print
Danville is the seat of Boyle County, set in the gently rolling country of central Kentucky south of Lexington. From above, its downtown is a clear grid of blocks centred on Main Street, and the street pattern loosens outward into residential neighbourhoods with larger lots. Beyond them come farms, fence lines and winding rural roads that are typical of the Bluegrass region.
The Danville map poster shows both the historic core and the green spaces that break it up. Centre College's campus forms a distinctive set of quads and paths close to downtown, and Constitution Square marks the town's early civic heart. Highways loop around the edges and connect Danville to Harrodsburg, Lexington and the lakes to the south.
Danville played a founding role in the state's history. The conventions that led to Kentucky's statehood in 1792 met here, which is commemorated at Constitution Square. More recently, Centre College put the town in the national spotlight when it hosted vice-presidential debates in 2000 and 2012. It is a small place with an outsized civic footprint.

Centre College campus
The college grounds sit just off downtown as an open composition of lawns, walkways and building footprints. Its quads stand out clearly against the surrounding street pattern.
Bluegrass edges
At the edges of town, streets give way to curving country roads and large farm parcels. That rural fringe gives the poster generous negative space.
