Mapa
Elizabeth City Map Poster & Print
Elizabeth City sits on the Pasquotank River in northeastern North Carolina, where the river widens on its way to Albemarle Sound. The town grew as a port linked to the Dismal Swamp Canal to the north, and it still calls itself the Harbor of Hospitality. On a map the historic downtown is a compact grid pressed against the waterfront.
The Pasquotank is the dominant shape, broad and bending, with creeks and marshy inlets branching off it. Downriver from the centre lies Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, whose runways form a sharp geometric figure beside the water. Elizabeth City State University, a historically Black university, has its own campus within the town, and neighbourhoods fan out around it.
An Elizabeth City map poster combines river, grid and runway into a strong composition. It is a natural choice for Coast Guard families, ECSU alumni and sailors who know the town as a stop on the Intracoastal Waterway. The expanse of water gives the print a calm, open quality that works especially well at larger sizes.

Waterfront downtown
The historic centre is a tight grid of blocks right at the water's edge, with streets running down to the docks and the river.
Coast Guard runways
The air station's runways lie beside the river downstream from the centre. Their crisp geometric figure contrasts with the soft shoreline around them.
