Connecticut River
The river runs along the town's western boundary, broad and gently curving. On the poster it forms a strong natural edge and the largest open space in the composition.

Mapa
Enfield Map Poster & Print
Enfield lies in northern Connecticut on the border with Massachusetts, with the Connecticut River forming its western edge. The town's map is shaped by that river and by Interstate 91, which runs north to south through the middle, separating older riverfront areas from the suburban streets that spread east.
Thompsonville, the historic village by the river, grew around large carpet mills in the nineteenth century, and its tighter grid still stands out on the map. Enfield also holds a notable place in American religious history: in 1741 Jonathan Edwards delivered his famous sermon Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God here, and the town was later home to a Shaker community.
An Enfield map poster traces the full story of a New England town: the wide river, the compact mill village, the highway corridor and the curving suburban streets beyond. The contrast between the dense riverside and the looser eastern districts gives the print variety and a strong sense of place.

Thompsonville grid
The former mill village near the river has a tighter, more regular grid than the rest of town. It stands out as a dense cluster of streets, recalling Enfield's industrial past.
Interstate 91
The interstate runs north to south through the middle of Enfield with interchanges along its length. It acts as a clear dividing line between older and newer parts of town.
