The Thames bend
The river curves along the southern edge of Hampton, broken by small islands and boat moorings, giving the whole composition a strong, flowing boundary line.

Mapa
Hampton Map Poster & Print
Hampton sits on the north bank of the Thames in south-west London, and from above the river is the first thing you notice. It bends past the village edge in a broad, slow curve, dotted with narrow islands and lined by moorings. Inland the streets spread in a loose pattern of older lanes and later residential roads, the kind of fabric that grew around a village long before the city arrived.
The map also shows how much of Hampton is water and open ground. Large rectangular filter beds and reservoirs of the waterworks line the riverside, their hard geometric edges contrasting with the softer lines of the Thames. To the east the wide expanse of Bushy Park opens up, and beyond it lies Hampton Court Palace, the Tudor royal residence that gives the wider area much of its fame.
A Hampton map poster keeps all of this in a single frame: the river bend, the grid of the waterworks, the green block of parkland and the quiet residential roads between them. The actor David Garrick once lived here, and his riverside temple to Shakespeare still stands by the water. In black and white the place reads as a careful balance of river, park and village.

Waterworks geometry
Filter beds and reservoirs form neat rectangles beside the river, one of the most distinctive graphic patterns on the map and a reminder of London's water supply.
Bushy Park edge
To the east the streets give way to the open expanse of Bushy Park, a large royal park whose long avenues lead toward Hampton Court.

Zašto Hampton
Mapa koja nešto znači
Hampton appeals to people who know it as a riverside home, a place of Sunday walks through the park or a family address on the edge of London. The map captures its calm mix of water and green space in a way a photograph rarely does.
You can add your own title, a subtitle and a date or coordinates line, then choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It works as a housewarming gift, a reminder of a first flat, or a quiet piece for a hallway.
