Jubilee Clock junction
The high-street crossroads around the Victorian clock tower forms the natural centre of the map, the point from which the main roads fan out through the terraces.

Mapa
Harlesden Map Poster & Print
Harlesden sits in north-west London, in the Borough of Brent, and from above it reads as a dense patchwork of terraced streets. The roads converge on a small central junction where the Jubilee Clock stands, a Victorian clock tower that has long served as the neighbourhood's meeting point. Around it the grid runs in short, closely packed rows, typical of suburbs that grew quickly once the railways arrived.
Rail shapes this map more than any river does. Willesden Junction lies just to the east, and its fan of tracks cuts a wide pale band across the drawing, with depots and sidings that break the terraces into separate pockets. Further south the Grand Union Canal slips past on its way into central London, a thin continuous line through industrial land.
Harlesden is widely associated with the Caribbean community that settled here after the war and with its long connection to reggae and sound-system culture. A Harlesden map poster keeps that story in the background and lets the streets speak: the clock-tower crossroads, the terraces, the rail lines and the green space of Roundwood Park to the north.

Willesden Junction tracks
One of London's major rail junctions sits beside the neighbourhood, and its spreading tracks and yards appear as a broad band of open space east of the streets.
Roundwood Park
A rounded green park to the north breaks up the grid of houses, giving the composition a soft, open shape against the tight rows of streets around it.

Zašto Harlesden
Mapa koja nešto znači
People who grew up in NW10, or who spent some of their London years here, often want a picture of the place that is more than a photograph of one street. The whole grid, clock tower and rail lines included, captures a neighbourhood rather than a view.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line yourself, perhaps with a street name or the year you moved in, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It comes as a 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF for $9, or as a printed poster.
