Itagüí Map Poster & Print
Itagüí lies just south of Medellín in the Aburrá Valley, and on a map the boundary between the two cities is barely visible. It is one of the most densely populated municipalities in Colombia, with small blocks packed tightly across the valley floor. The Medellín River runs along its eastern side, and the land rises to the west into steeper neighbourhoods and rural slopes.
The city grew as an industrial centre, with textile and manufacturing plants along the river corridor, and it remains an important place for industry and commerce in the region. It is connected to the rest of the valley by the Medellín Metro, whose main line runs beside the river with a station serving the city, tying Itagüí closely to the metropolitan area.
An Itagüí map poster captures the tight grain of a valley city. Along the river, industrial blocks and the metro corridor form long straight lines, the grid around the main square fills the middle, and toward the west the streets begin to bend with the slopes. The result is dense but ordered, with a clear rise from riverbank to hillside.

Dense central grid
Small, tightly packed blocks fill the valley floor around the town centre. At poster scale they create a fine, even texture that shows just how intensively the land is used.
Western slopes
As the valley side rises, streets curve to follow the terrain and the building pattern loosens. These upper areas add movement to the edges of an otherwise compact map.

Zašto Itagüí
Mapa koja nešto znači
Itagüí is home to many families in the Aburrá Valley who travel to Medellín for work but keep their roots here. A map of the city is a simple way to honour that identity, and it suits apartments where a quiet, graphic print works better than a photograph.
Give the poster your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps a barrio name or a family date. Choose from five styles, Classic black & white through to Sand, download HD files at 300 DPI in six sizes for $9, or have a printed copy shipped from partners in over 30 countries.
