Yangtze frontage
The river crosses the map in a broad band. The town's streets are arranged along the shoreline, and the water sets the main direction of the whole composition.

Mapa
Jiang’an Map Poster & Print
Jiang’an is a county of Yibin, in the south of Sichuan province, where the Yangtze flows east toward Luzhou and Chongqing. From above, the county town stretches along the river. Its streets follow the curve of the bank and climb a short way into the hills behind. The water forms a broad, strong edge across the map, with farmland and wooded slopes filling the land around the town.
Like much of the upper Yangtze, the area is hilly and green, with small valleys, terraced fields and villages linked by roads that follow the contours. The river has long been the main route for trade and travel here. The town's layout still faces the water rather than any single inland centre.
A Jiang’an map poster brings out that orientation. The river runs as a wide, clear band through the composition, the town gathers along the shore, and the roads behind it bend with the terrain. It is a simple, well-balanced map of a riverside county town, calm in black and white and quietly specific in its details.

Hillside streets
Behind the waterfront, roads curve and climb into the surrounding hills, so the street pattern loosens and bends instead of forming a regular grid.
Rural surroundings
Beyond the town, farm roads, fields and villages spread over the hills and valleys, filling the edges of the print with a fine, irregular texture.
