Kānth lies in Moradabad district in western Uttar Pradesh, on the broad, level plain of the upper Ganges basin. The map shows a compact settlement with narrow, irregular lanes at its centre. These lanes grew over generations rather than from a single plan, and a handful of roads reach out from them to nearby towns and villages.
Around the town, farmland stretches in every direction, divided into small plots and crossed by field tracks and minor roads. The contrast between the dense core and the finely divided countryside gives a Kānth map poster its quiet structure: one dark centre, many thin lines, and plenty of open space around them.
