Historic town square
The original square sits at the centre of a small grid of blocks. Even at a large scale, its tidy outline is the first thing most viewers notice.

Mapa
Lancaster Map Poster & Print
Lancaster lies in southern Dallas County, about fifteen miles south of downtown Dallas, on the gently rolling prairie of north Texas. Founded in the 1850s, it grew around a traditional courthouse-style town square, which still sits at the heart of the map. Streets leave the square in a neat grid before giving way to the curving roads of later suburban development.
The town's outer shape is defined by major transport routes. Interstate 35E runs along the western side and Interstate 20 crosses to the north, forming bold boundaries on the map. Lancaster Regional Airport, with its long runway, occupies land to the east. Between these features lie residential neighbourhoods, parks and stretches of open land that still show the area's agricultural past.
A Lancaster map poster brings together the old square, the gridded streets around it, the suburban loops beyond and the heavy lines of the interstates. The result has a clear structure and plenty of detail. It suits long-time residents, newcomers to the southern Dallas suburbs and anyone who wants their Texas hometown on the wall.

Interstate frame
I-35E and I-20 run past the town. Their wide, sweeping lines form strong edges and give the poster a sense of how Lancaster connects with Dallas.
Regional airport
The runway of Lancaster Regional Airport appears as a long, straight stroke on the east side of town. It adds a clean geometric element among the residential streets.
