Crossing roads
The town forms around a few main routes that link it with the rest of the region. Their meeting point is the natural centre of the poster, and the lines carry the eye outward.

Moussadou Map Poster & Print
Moussadou lies in the Nzérékoré Region of southeastern Guinea, in the forested and hilly country known as Guinée forestière. Detailed maps of towns this size are often simple, and that simplicity is part of the appeal. From above you see a few main roads meeting, and around them clusters of houses and compounds that thin out into fields, woodland and footpaths.
The land is gently uneven and well watered, and small streams and low ground interrupt the pattern of settlement. Roads connect Moussadou to other towns in the region, and the town's shape follows these routes more than any planned grid. On the map it looks lived-in and informal, with the landscape still close on every side.
A Moussadou map poster is a personal object more than a tourist one. It is for people with family ties to the town, or who have lived and worked in forest Guinea, and want a quiet reminder of a particular crossroads. In monochrome, the sparse streets and open surroundings make a light, airy composition that doesn't claim more than the place itself.

Scattered compounds
Houses and compounds sit in loose clusters, not continuous blocks, so the built-up area has a soft, grainy edge that gradually fades into the countryside.
Streams and low ground
Small watercourses and damp hollows break up the settlement and push roads into gentle curves, which shows how closely the town follows the land.
