Valley setting
The town sits on the flatter ground between hills. Its built-up area has an organic outline shaped by the slopes rather than a regular grid, which gives the map a natural, irregular form.

Mapa
Nanfeng Map Poster & Print
Nanfeng is a town in the far west of Guangdong Province, in hilly country not far from the border with Guangxi. From above it reads as a compact settlement in a valley, with a denser core of streets surrounded by farmland and wooded slopes. Terrain shapes the map more than planning does, because roads and buildings follow the flatter land between the hills.
Water plays a quiet part in the composition. Streams and small rivers wind across the valley floors, and fields and ponds make a patchwork of irregular shapes around the town. Main roads connect Nanfeng to neighbouring towns and the wider region. Smaller lanes branch off towards villages spread along the valleys.
Western Guangdong is a landscape of green hills and river valleys, far from the dense urban grids of the Pearl River Delta. A Nanfeng map poster shows that difference: a modest cluster of streets, the soft curves of water and fields, and generous open space where the hills rise around the town.

Winding waterways
Small rivers and streams thread through the valley. They add fine curving lines that lead the eye across the poster and tie the town to the countryside around it.
Rural patchwork
Around the centre, fields, ponds and scattered villages form a loose pattern of small shapes and thin roads. This quiet texture frames the denser streets of the town.
