Open plain
The land around Nianzhuang is almost entirely flat. On the map this gives a steady, even texture of fields and roads, with no contour to interrupt the pattern.

Mapa
Nianzhuang Map Poster & Print
Nianzhuang lies in the northern part of Jiangsu province, in the broad lowland near Xuzhou where the land barely rises. From above, the town reads as a tighter cluster of blocks and roads surrounded by a regular patchwork of farmland. Straight country roads lead away in several directions, linking it to neighbouring villages and towns across the plain.
The geometry here comes from agriculture and planning rather than from hills or coastlines. Field boundaries, drainage ditches and small watercourses divide the land into long, orderly strips, and the town sits within that pattern like a denser knot. Newer streets tend to follow straighter lines, while older lanes are shorter and less regular.
A Nianzhuang map poster suits this kind of quiet structure. Without a dramatic landmark to dominate the frame, the eye follows the rhythm of roads, plots and water channels instead, and the result is a clean, almost graphic composition. It is a portrait of an ordinary working town in one of China's most densely farmed regions.

Straight country roads
Long, direct roads run out from the town towards surrounding settlements. On the poster they act as clear guiding lines, connecting the central blocks to the wider countryside.
Field and water grid
Drainage ditches and small channels divide the farmland into orderly parcels. Rendered in fine lines, they give the outer edges of the poster a calm, woven quality.
