Mapa
North Bay Shore Map Poster & Print
North Bay Shore is a hamlet in the Town of Islip on Long Island's South Shore, directly north of Bay Shore. On a map, it is a dense layout of residential streets. Short blocks and small lots fill the area between a few major roads, which are the usual feature of central Suffolk County suburbs.
Major highways and parkways pass near the community and give the map its strongest lines. Their long, smooth curves and interchanges are very different from the small grid of local streets. Commercial strips run along the main roads, and schools and parks form open spaces within the neighbourhoods.
The hamlet has no formal downtown. Its identity comes from its neighbourhoods and communities, and from its easy access to Bay Shore, the ferries to Fire Island and the rest of Long Island. A North Bay Shore map poster shows that everyday geography of streets, highways and local landmarks.

Parkways and highways
Major roads with long curves and interchanges pass close by. They are the boldest lines on the print and connect the area to the rest of the island.
School and park spaces
Schoolyards, athletic fields and parks leave open rectangles among the houses. They are the main landmarks of the neighbourhood from above.

Zašto North Bay Shore
Mapa koja nešto znači
North Bay Shore is a good print for families with roots in the hamlet, people who grew up on Long Island and later moved, and new homeowners. It shows a very local geography that a map of the whole island would not.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a street, a date or a family name. There are five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir gives the parkways a strong graphic look.
