Mapa
Saint Charles Map Poster & Print
Saint Charles lies on the Missouri River west of St. Louis, and it is one of the oldest towns in the state, founded by a French-Canadian fur trader in 1769. The historic district still runs along the river, where South Main Street follows the bank in a long line of brick and stone buildings close to the water.
Saint Charles served as Missouri's first state capital from 1821 to 1826, and in 1804 it was the starting point for the Lewis and Clark expedition as it set off up the Missouri. Behind the riverfront the older blocks form a regular grid, while newer neighbourhoods and commercial districts spread outward in curving suburban streets toward the interstate.
A Saint Charles map poster balances the broad curve of the Missouri, the tight historic grid beside it and the looser suburbs beyond. Frontier Park and the Katy Trail run along the river's edge, adding a green line to the composition, and the river bridges tie the city to the St. Louis side of the map.

Zašto Saint Charles
Mapa koja nešto znači
Saint Charles is where many St. Louis area families have lived for generations, and where others marry on Main Street or start out in a first home. A map holds all of that, with a personal title, a subtitle with a date, and a coordinates line.
Classic black & white suits the brick-and-river character of the old town, and Blueprint gives the grid and bridges a technical edge. Download six HD sizes for $9, from A3 to 24×36″, or order a matte printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
