Mapa
Swanley Map Poster & Print
Swanley sits in north-west Kent, just past the edge of Greater London, and its map is shaped as much by transport as by housing. The M25 passes close by, and its interchange with the M20 just south of the town is one of the most recognisable road shapes in the area. Its wide sweep of slip roads frames the built-up streets like a border.
Inside that frame, residential streets spread out from the town centre and the station, where the lines toward London, Maidstone and the Medway towns split. Swanley grew out of a rural district of orchards and market gardens, and pockets of green remain. The largest is Swanley Park, where a boating lake sits among lawns and woodland on the edge of town.
A Swanley map poster turns this mix into a clear composition: heavy motorway curves at the edge, fine branching rail lines through the middle and an even pattern of suburban streets in between. It shows how a small town fits inside a much larger network, and that works well in both the lighter and the darker styles.

Railway junction
Swanley station is where the lines toward London, Maidstone and the Medway towns separate. The fanning tracks draw a sharp, directional line through the centre of the map.
Swanley Park lake
The park on the edge of town has a boating lake surrounded by open grass and trees. It is a smooth, rounded shape among the regular residential blocks.
