The Tang River
The river that gives the town its name curves along the urban area. It is the clearest natural line on the map and the reference point for every street around it.

Mapa
Tanghe Map Poster & Print
Tanghe sits in the Nanyang Basin of southwestern Henan and takes its name from the Tang River, which flows past it on the way south toward Hubei. From above, the town is a compact grid pressed against the water. Newer blocks stretch outward into a patchwork of fields, channels and village roads that fill the edges of the frame.
The level ground of the basin shapes everything. No hills bend the streets, so the avenues run long and straight, and the river gives the page its one strong curve. Bridges join the two banks. Toward the edges, the street network gradually thins, which shows clearly where the town ends and the farmland begins.
A Tanghe map poster keeps that quiet geometry intact. In fine black lines, the river becomes a pale ribbon through a dense field of streets, and the rural roads beyond it make a soft, textured border. It is a restrained composition for anyone with family roots in the county or a connection to the wider Nanyang region.

Basin grid
The streets are laid out on the flat floor of the Nanyang Basin and run in long, regular lines. The result is an orderly block pattern that prints with crisp contrast.
Farmland edges
Beyond the built-up area, a fine mesh of village lanes and field boundaries surrounds the town and gives the poster a delicate textured frame.
