Mapa
Temple City Map Poster & Print
Temple City lies in the San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles County, and from above it looks like a textbook Southern California grid. Long residential streets run in parallel lines, lined with single-family lots, and a few wider boulevards carry the traffic. Las Tunas Drive crosses the town as its main commercial street. The San Gabriel Mountains rise a few miles to the north.
The town was founded in the 1920s by Walter P. Temple and incorporated as a city in 1960. It is known for its annual Camellia Festival, which has been held for decades and includes a parade of flower-decorated floats. Temple City is small in area and densely built, so almost the whole city fits easily on one sheet.
A Temple City map poster shows how much character a simple grid can have. Slight shifts in the street pattern mark the boundaries of old subdivisions, parks appear as small open rectangles, and Las Tunas Drive cuts through the pattern as the main axis. It is a clean, balanced image that suits modern interiors.

Residential grid
Long, parallel streets of single-family homes fill most of the city. Small shifts where tracts meet give the grid a subtle rhythm.
Parks and schools
Parks and school grounds break up the grid as open rectangles. These white pauses give the eye somewhere to rest among the dense housing.
