Close-knit street pattern
The centre is a dense tangle of short lanes and alleys that grew without a formal plan, which gives the middle of the print its darkest and most detailed area.

Mapa
Tordher Map Poster & Print
From above, Tordher appears as a dense cluster of lanes set among cultivated fields. The streets do not follow a grid. They wind the way older market towns in the region tend to, with narrow passages branching off a few roads that carry most of the traffic in and out. Past the last houses, the map opens quickly into irrigated plots and farm tracks.
The town sits on the plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, not far from where the Indus leaves the hills and turns south. That setting accounts for the flat, fertile ground around it and for the irrigation lines that cut across the fields. On a monochrome print those channels and field boundaries give a quiet texture to the edges of the town.
A Tordher map poster is mostly about proportion: a tight core of building footprints, a thin web of connecting roads, and wide stretches of open land around them. It is a modest subject, and that suits a black-and-white print. The layout is easy to take in, it has real detail, and it clearly belongs to one particular place.

Open plains
Cultivated land surrounds the town on every side. The field edges and farm tracks form a loose patchwork that fades gently toward the margins of the poster.
Roads to the region
A handful of main roads run out from the centre toward neighbouring towns and villages. They are the strongest straight lines on the map and hold the composition together.

Zašto Tordher
Mapa koja nešto znači
Maps of towns like Tordher tend to hang in homes where the place means family: a childhood street, relatives who still live there, or somewhere left behind for work abroad. A quiet line drawing keeps the memory specific without turning it sentimental.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line yourself, for example a family name or the year someone moved away. Choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
