Mapa
Trenton Map Poster & Print
Trenton sits on the east bank of the Delaware River, at the falls where the river drops from the uplands to the coastal plain. That position made it a natural crossing point, and the map still shows it. Several bridges cross to Pennsylvania, and the city's older streets run at angles set by the riverbank rather than by the compass.
The city is New Jersey's capital, and the State House stands close to the river. In December 1776, Washington crossed the Delaware upstream and won the Battle of Trenton, a turning point of the Revolutionary War. The phrase Trenton Makes, The World Takes, spelled out in large letters on the Lower Trenton Bridge, recalls the city's industrial past.
A Trenton map poster brings together the river, the rail corridor of the Northeast line and the Assunpink Creek running through the centre. Its neighbourhoods tilt in several directions at once. The result is a denser, more complex print than a simple grid would make. It holds much of American history in a very compact space.

Angled street plan
Neighbourhood grids meet at different angles, set by the river, the old roads and the rail lines. The result is a varied, faceted pattern across the city.
Assunpink Creek
The creek winds through the centre to the Delaware, near the site of the second Revolutionary battle at Trenton, and adds a soft curve to the plan.

Zašto Trenton
Mapa koja nešto znači
Trenton suits a gift for a New Jersey native, a history enthusiast or someone who has worked in state government. You can personalise the title and subtitle with a name, a date or a line such as 1776.
The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper has an archival, Revolutionary-era mood. Noir makes the river and bridges stand out in sharp contrast.
