Mapa
West Hartford Map Poster & Print
West Hartford sits directly west of Hartford, Connecticut. On a map, its eastern side joins the city's street grid, then gradually shifts into the curving roads and larger lots typical of an older New England suburb. To the west, the land rises toward Talcott Mountain, where the reservoir area forms a large, quiet expanse of water and woodland.
The heart of the town is West Hartford Center, a walkable area of shops and restaurants, which includes the Blue Back Square development. Noah Webster, the lexicographer whose name is still on American dictionaries, was born here, and his childhood home is now a museum. The University of Hartford campus is on the northern side.
A West Hartford map poster shows a town that balances a busy centre with calm neighbourhoods, and it includes both the street network and the natural shapes of the reservoirs and ridge to the west.

Reservoir lands
To the west, large reservoirs and surrounding woodland stretch toward the ridge, creating broad, calm shapes along the edge of the frame.
Curving suburban streets
The residential areas are laid out in gentle curves and loops, which contrast with the straighter grid near the Hartford line.
