Ogembo is a town in Kisii County in south-western Kenya, in the Gusii highlands. The landscape here is hilly and fertile, and the map shows roads curving over ridges and down into valleys, with the town centre forming where several routes meet. The built-up core is compact, and beyond it the settlement spreads thinly across the surrounding hills.
