The old centre
The densest cluster of streets marks the historic heart of the town, where the main roads converge and the network is at its most intricate.

关于地图
Ado-Odo Map Poster & Print
Ado-Odo lies in the southwest of Ogun State in Nigeria, not far from the border with Benin, and it is the administrative seat of the Ado-Odo/Ota local government area. On a map it looks like a traditional Yoruba town: a denser older centre where roads meet, and neighbourhoods reaching outward along the main routes.
The street network is irregular rather than planned. Lanes bend and branch, compounds and newer houses fill the spaces between them, and at the edges the town meets farmland and patches of vegetation. On a monochrome print, that organic web becomes the main subject, with no strong grid to organise it.
An Ado-Odo map poster is for people who know the town from the inside, through family, a hometown association or visits back from Lagos or abroad. The layout is not dramatic, but it is specific, and nowhere else has quite the same pattern of roads.

Organic street web
Without a planned grid, Ado-Odo's lanes curve and fork freely, giving the map a hand-drawn quality that suits a simple black-and-white print.
Green margins
Beyond the built-up area, farmland and vegetation leave wide open spaces, so the town reads as a distinct shape on the page.
