关于地图
Adré Map Poster & Print
Adré lies in Chad's Ouadaï region, very close to the border with Sudan and the Darfur town of El Geneina. From above, it appears as a loose grid of sandy streets and compounds spread across flat Sahelian terrain, crossed by seasonal watercourses that run only during the rains.
Its position on the frontier has long made it a crossing and trading point. Since 2023, Adré has received very large numbers of people fleeing conflict in Sudan, and camps and settlements around the town have become a major focus of humanitarian work.
An Adré map poster shows the town as a pattern of rectangular compounds and wide, straight tracks, with wadis cutting soft lines through the open ground. It is a simple, austere plan that reflects both the landscape and the town's role at the edge of two countries.

Border roads
Tracks lead east toward the Sudanese frontier and west toward Abéché, tying Adré to routes of trade and movement across the region.

为什么选 Adré
一张有意义的地图
A map of Adré can hold meaning for people from the Ouadaï region, for Sudanese families who passed through, and for aid workers who spent time there. It records a place many know only from the news.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a name, date or phrase. The poster is available in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
