关于地图
Afipskiy Map Poster & Print
Afipskiy is an urban-type settlement in Krasnodar Krai, a short distance southwest of Krasnodar. It sits on the flat Kuban lowland, near the river Afips, from which it takes its name, and not far from the Kuban river itself.
On the map, the settlement shows a regular grid of streets, blocks of private houses in long rows, with a few areas of apartment buildings. To one side lies a large oil refinery, whose tanks, pipes and service roads form a very different pattern: dense, geometric and industrial, clearly separated from the residential streets.
An Afipskiy map poster brings together these two sides of the place, the quiet residential grid and the large-scale industry, set in the wide, flat farmland of the Kuban plain. The contrast between house plots, river bends and refinery lines makes for an unexpectedly interesting composition.

River Afips
The small river Afips winds near the settlement, a soft curving line that contrasts with the straight streets and industrial shapes.
