Central grid
The older part of town is laid out in regular square blocks. This gives the centre of the map a clean, even texture.

关于地图
Aguachica Map Poster & Print
Aguachica sits in the south of Colombia's Cesar Department, on low, warm land between the eastern mountain ranges and the Magdalena River valley. The town grew as a stop on the roads connecting the Caribbean coast with the interior. Its plan shows this: a regular grid of blocks crossed by through-routes, with farmland and cattle country on every side.
From above, the centre follows the classic Latin American pattern of square blocks around a main plaza. Newer barrios spread outward in looser shapes, and the main highway runs along one side like a long, straight edge. Small streams and field boundaries fill the land beyond the last streets.
An Aguachica map poster is for people who know the town from the inside: families from southern Cesar, people who moved to Bogotá, Bucaramanga or the coast, or anyone who spent time here. Printed in black and white, the steady grid and the roads running out of it make a calm, readable image.

Through highway
A major road runs past the town and links it to the coast and the interior. It forms a strong straight line across the composition.
Open lowlands
Flat farmland and pasture surround the town. At poster scale they give the grid space to breathe and make the edges of the settlement easy to read.

为什么选 Aguachica
一张有意义的地图
For people from Aguachica, the map is a record of home that stays the same while life moves on elsewhere. It suits a living room, an office or a gift for someone who left for a bigger city and still thinks about the plaza and the streets around it.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates, perhaps with a family name or a date that matters. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It comes as a $9 HD download, with a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF for each size.
