Solar collector field
Outside the town, the rows of solar collectors at the power plant form a tight block of parallel lines, one of the most distinctive shapes in the area.

关于地图
Aïn Beni Mathar Map Poster & Print
Aïn Beni Mathar sits on the high plateaus of Morocco's Oriental region, south of Oujda. The name refers to a spring, and water has long determined where settlement is possible in this dry landscape. On a map, the town is a dense patch of streets on a wide, mostly empty plain.
The town is known beyond the region for the Aïn Beni Mathar power station, an integrated solar combined-cycle plant. It pairs a field of solar collectors with gas turbines and was among the first of its kind in North Africa. The collector rows appear on detailed maps as a striking block of parallel lines.
An Aïn Beni Mathar map poster sets a small, close street plan against a lot of open space. Roads run almost straight across the steppe, and seasonal watercourses leave faint lines. The overall look is sparse and geometric.

Dense town centre
The inner streets are short and closely packed. They form a dark, compact core that stands out clearly against the pale plateau around it.
Straight plateau roads
Main roads run long distances with very few bends, linking the town to Oujda and other settlements across the high plains of the Oriental region.

为什么选 Aïn Beni Mathar
一张有意义的地图
For people from the Oriental region, Aïn Beni Mathar means springs, open plateau and family ties that often stretch to cities and countries far away. A framed map brings that landscape home in a clean, restrained form.
The title can be written in the spelling you prefer, and you can add a date or a line in the subtitle. Sand suits the plateau, and Classic black & white, Noir, Paper and Blueprint are also available.
