关于地图
Aïn Kercha Map Poster & Print
Aïn Kercha lies in Oum el Bouaghi Province, in the high plains of eastern Algeria between the Tell mountains and the Saharan Atlas. The land here is open and fairly level, used mainly for cereal farming and grazing. On a map the town is a compact block of streets surrounded by wide agricultural space.
The name begins with aïn, meaning spring, as many place names in the region do, which points to the importance of water on these dry plateaus. The street pattern is fairly regular, with a denser centre and newer residential quarters added on the edges. Regional roads lead out toward neighbouring towns.
An Aïn Kercha map poster is defined by contrast between a solid, geometric town and a nearly empty plain around it. The layout is simple, and the print has a strong, almost architectural presence. It suits anyone with a family or personal connection to the Oum el Bouaghi high plains.

High plains
Beyond the edge of town are broad farmland and grazing areas. They leave a wide, calm margin and emphasise how compact the settlement is.
Regional roads
Several roads lead out across the plain toward neighbouring towns in the province. They make long, straight lines that give the composition direction.

为什么选 Aïn Kercha
一张有意义的地图
Families from Aïn Kercha, including many who now live in larger Algerian cities or in Europe, can keep the streets of their home town on the wall as a clear, calm drawing.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, including in Arabic or French. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand gives the high plains a warm, earthy tone.
