关于地图
Ambikāpur Map Poster & Print
Ambikāpur is the main town of the Surguja region in northern Chhattisgarh, on an upland plateau surrounded by forest and low hills. On the map, the town has a compact centre of dense, irregular streets, with main roads radiating out toward neighbouring towns and districts. Beyond the edges, the map quickly opens into fields and woodland.
The town has grown outward along these main roads, so its shape is roughly star-like, with the densest streets near the markets and older neighbourhoods at the centre. Small ponds and water tanks appear here and there among the blocks, a common feature of towns in this part of India.
The town is named after the goddess Ambika, and the hill station of Mainpat, known for its Tibetan settlement, lies a short drive away. An Ambikāpur map poster captures a regional centre in the forests of central India, with plenty of open space around its streets.
